Micky first starting playing football at an early age at Holbrook Miners Wefare, when asked what got him started in football Micky said that "he had a very early interest in football and was influenced by Nigel Clough", Micky has also play alongside Clough and also Kinkladze who has played for Derby County, Man City and Ajax to name a few.

One of Micky's ambitions is to captain a League winning side and is hoping to do that here at Long Eaton United. We also asked "would he like to get to the FA Cup first round or promotion to the Unibond League" and his reply was the "Unibond". Mickys most successful team he has played for is Belper Town FC and is hoping for the same success here.
